Thanks Owlman, do you happen to know where? We just moved here and we have a friend visiting who asked about them. I remember reading that many were going to have to relocate due to some hotel construction or something like that but that is the extent of my knowledge.

Not as many as before, but some are still around. On Colorado and I think 5th there is a lot that has several, and Chilantro sometimes makes an appearance. Many are getting pushed out due to new development, such as the 5 or 6 that used to be in what is now the construction site for the JW Marriott (I think?) hotel being built across from the Austonian.

Definitely more likely to see food trailers east and south of downtown than in downtown itself.

The last Tuesday of every month they have a group of them at the Long Center for evening meal and fun:
Trailer Food Tuesdays - All Summer Long at the Long Center

I am going to discuss three locations, South First Food Court, a new park called Rancho Rio behind The Drag (Guadalupe St on UT Campus area) and a new one that opened yesterday (6/1/13) Breakpoint at the Boardwalk. All 3 of these have cool Facebook Pages.

South First Food Court has about 5 trailers. It is at the corner of South 1st and Live Oak.

Next food truck park is new. It is Rancho Rio.

This is where a lot of the vendors from South Congress went. It is over behind The Drag on Guadalupe and 26th. The Drag is a 6 block area of businesses, shops, quick grab and go eateries and businesses catering to UT Students.

Rancho Rio is at 2512 Rio Grande and it has a FBk page and many articles about if via Google Search. The two favorites are Mighty Cone (not ice cream) and Cow Tipping Creamery:

The Mighty Cone!

Cow Tipping Creamery Read Yelp reviews for CTCreamery they are awesome!

The final Food Truck Park close to the downtown area just opened yesterday (6/1/13). It is Breakpoint at the Boardwalk. (See Facebook page). This park is off Riverside about 3 miles from downtown to the East. The actual address is 2201 Lakeshore Blvd.

I can't leave without mentioning Gourdough's. It is parked at 1503 So. 1st which is about 5 blocks before you get to the So. 1st Food Court. You must go to their webpage and take 5 mins to click through the photos of about 15 gourmet donuts that are around $5 each. Look at the photos and you will see why. Also, watch this video below:
