Does anybody know of any WORKING payphones in or around Austin? I have seen several still in tact but none that you can make a call from.

Does anyone, including criminals, actually use pay phones these days? And I can't imagine anyone in the general population nowadays knowing where specific pay phones are, let alone if they are in working order.

Gosh, I haven't seen one in a while. Maybe the Greyhound station near Highland Mall?

Try outside convenience stores in SE Austin, Dove Springs etc. I've seen them. Don't know if they work.

Don't know if it's still there, but as of a year ago, there was at least one in the lobby of the Driskill Hotel.
