I'm 6'5" and slender and have a really hard time finding clothing that fits me. I need to buy new jeans (I'm a 38 inseam), long-sleeve casual shirts, and black socks (I'm size 14 shoe). The issue I keep running into is that most shirts that are the right sleeve length for me are too big in the body, and most jeans that are the right length for me are too big in the waist (I'm usually a 34 - 36 waist, depending on the jean).

Aside from the obvious places like big and tall stores (which, BTW, cater more to big people than to tall and slender people), where are the best places in Austin to find clothes that would fit me?

I do pretty well at Dillards for my husband - there's a "big and tall" section that has a lot of size and style options. Good luck!

My son is 6'4 - his inseam is not as long as yours, we have more issues finding polo's etc that are long enough but all that said, we had really good luck at Nordstrom Rack.

If anyone has a suggestion for places with tall guy t-shirts (not polos or dress shirts) I'd be interested.

Not sure how many are in the store, but JCP seems to have a decent selection in big & tall:
Big & Tall Casual Shirts - Shop Polos, Dress Shirts, T-Shirts & Button Fronts - jcpenney
