The creek behind my house is absolutely biblical. We just got home from seeing the late showing of Gravity...when we got out of the car, we could hear tree limbs and such getting twisted and broken from the force of the water out back in the greenbelt.

I would hate to be a wild critter tonight Though they'll be a lot of activity now that it's tapered off. Might have to set up some microphones out there tonight...

Three Saturdays in a row we've had torrential downpours... How about we get some of this during the week?!

Rained HARD through most of the night in NW Austin. Impressive actually. Received a flash flood warning on my phone early on. 5.13" in Cedar Park as of 6am.

So this is what "40% chance of showers overnight" looks like, expert Austin news meteorologists?

Right.

Three inches here at the intersection of Parmer and Avery Ranch Blvd. I'll bet Brushy Creek Lake is rising fast! Guess that 10AM bike ride might be cancelled

5.5" here SW since midnight. At LCRA's offices on Lake Austin, 7.89" since midnight. Wonder how the Great Lawn at Zilker fared?

Did Lake Travis get lots of rain? We got at least 6 inches so far in NW Austin.
