I'm an 18 year old guy and don't favor the single life. I'm uncomfortable with the idea of dating a bi woman. I want a new start and was thinking of going there. There also has to be public transportation. I have never had many friends (pretty much 0 now) and I have never had a girlfriend. I'm sick of it being like that. So I want my new town/city to have nice people and allow me to make good friends and date women (and eventually find THE one, unless the first one happened to be THE one). I also want to be married before 30 and it's very important to have kids before 30 to reduce the chances of autism. I want to wait 3-4 years after getting married to make the first baby though. I'm cool with LGBT friendly communities but if I can't find any straight women then I don't want to be there.

Chances are good that you can find what you want here, however you can't move away from yourself, so you had best start working on what is preventing you from making more friends, regardless of where you live.

You also should be thinking about and preparing for a career so you can support yourself and your family. Austin has a higher than normal number of people here with college degrees, who you will be competing with for jobs. So you should be thinking more about the bigger picture of how you want to live your life and not just about finding a girlfriend. i.e. what job skills do you have, how are you going to support yourself? etc...

CptnRn, interesting plot. Any idea why there's more males between 20-40 than females?
is it the tech jobs?

Well if I never meet a girl then I couldn't care less if I make a lot or not. Why are there so many people on the internet in their 30s and 40s and even older who have NEVER had a relationship?! I'm trying to prevent that from happening to me!

You realize autism is highly hereditary, right?

Yes, it also is more likely having a baby at age 30 and up. Plus I might have aspergers and that increases the odds too. I most likely do, mild but you can probably tell after a short conversation with me.

I think you probably need someone to talk to versus moving. You will find the same issues anywhere as long as you keep the same mindset.

I wish I did have someone to talk to. I wish I could just get a life.

If I move I might have trouble meeting people, college would be great for that as well as getting a major but parents won't help pay. I'm screwed and don't know how to avoid the failure coming.
