I'm amazed at how many people put theirs stuff into lockers with no lock on them. Sometimes when it's busy and i'm trying to find a free locker, i'll open about 5 or 6 that end up having stuff in them before I find an empty one. Wallets and everything, crazy.

Oh yeah, theft not robbery. It's just so rampant, you'd think a bit more would be done to prevent it.

Gotcha...indeed, a robbery in a gym would be quite unusual

Get a Spibelt and keep your keys, jewelry, money, phone, etc in it and on your person while at the gym. They're commonly used by runners and don't look like a fanny pack. SPIbelt | Running Belt & Fitness Belt I love mine when I'm out walking my dog; I can fit iPhone5s, chapstick, and a small key fob in it with no problems.

I used to go to that gym. I agree that it's nothing new and nothing unique to that gym. For privacy reasons, management can't really put cameras in a locker room. Good rule of thumb is don't leave any valuables in there.

And I saw purses in cars all the time too. Put them in the trunk or don't bring them.

BTW, the preschool where I work had several car break-ins last year. People leave their purse in the car while they run in and drop off their kids. Someone would watch them go in, break the window and take their purse. Police said there were 10 preschools all hit in that same week. So it can (and does) happen everywhere.

Default Gym Theft Bee Cave

Car stolen Sunday morning - woman took keys from inside locker room out of bag and stole vehicle. Used card to purchase Visa Gift Cards at local Walgreens. They have her photo and she comes in and out of Gold's...She did same thing in Round Rock as well. It's a big problem now in local gyms in Austin and surrounding areas.
