why are people always on the go in austin Texas?
If you are paying 900.00 rent and you work 12 hours a day and you go shopping
All the time eat out all the time always on
The go is is worth paying the high rent if
You are never at home? You don't cook
Because you are too busy running the
Streets! If you don't have appoinents,
Or anything important to do why can't
You sit your *** down somewhere and
Chill and enjoy the house or apartment
You are paying so much for?

So what other people do affects you how? Not sure why you care. I spend plenty of time enjoying my house, gardening, etc. The fact that others are more busy does not affect me.

rondell99, You are speaking in broad generalities that do not apply to everyone. For the most part people are living their lives according to their own priorities, why do you think they should live them according to yours?

I can't tell if that verse is iambic pentameter or dactylic hexameter...just doesn't flow for me.

Cause there's always something to do, which is a good thing. The thing I don't like is when people are in such a rush; but that's because I'm a laid back sort and like to take my time doing things. I don't drive 100 to get anywhere, I walk kinda slow, eat slow, etc....

I am having a pretty hard time understanding the purpose behind the original post.

People who "veg out" are known as "couch potatoes."

Other people are focused on enjoying life to the fullest, which means getting out and DOING things, or enjoying a productive hobby.

I find the latter types MUCH MORE interesting to know and emulate!

The people that I know that pay really high rents do so because they want to live somewhere they don't have to drive....not because they want to sit in their apartment/condo. The live downtown and do the SXSW thing, or go to watch the marathon, or enjoy the trails, etc....
