We are thinking of buying a 4950 sq ft home in Barton creek west. It's 4500 sq ft built up area plus a sunroom which brings it to 4950. It's 5 bedrms, 3.5 half bath, with both formals.
Here's the link to it 2705 Creeks Edge Pkwy, Austin, TX 78733 | MLS# 8834151 | Redfin
Is it a very big house to resell or rent in case we need to do so in the future for any reason?

What's your point/question? Appears to be under contract.

That place will require at least $100k in upgrades to make it livable--enjoy the process.

From the pics it looks to be quite 'livalble.' I think you are referring bringing it up to a certain aesthetic standard which is not the same thing at all.

Yes, you are correct--it is habitable in its current condition. However, it's extremely outdated and would not be pleasant for my family to live in while it basically undergoes a total interior gut job (flooring, cabinetry, lighting, appliances, window treatments, bathroom fixtures, many of the walls colors/coverings, etc.)
