The same goes for In-N-Out, or any other organization. If you don't like what they support, don't patronize their establishments.

5 guys is a sit down hamburger place. because of the price point and sit down location it makes more sense to compare 5 guys to phils ice house, hop doddys etc.

5 guys loses to both phils ice house and hopdoddys.

Oh, that is sad!!! I've been to Smash three times and will stop if I can't get a no-MSG burger there. It's not the type of burger I would normally eat, anyway.

Following up on MSG at Smash Burger -

went today with co-workers

talked to an employee about MSG - the same employee I talked to before at SouthPark, because I looked at their ingredient list

http://smashburger.com/pdf/NutritionalDoc.pdf

I guess what I was told was wrong, (hopefully) read above, first few lines it says " Smashburger ingredients and products are MSG free".

I will try them next time, as the time I found out as the group was finishing up the lunch, no time for me to order.

if you have other allergens - check http://smashburger.com/wordpress/wp-...s-3.5.2013.pdf

Thanks for following up on that. Good to know about the (lack of) MSG. Unfortunately, I also looked at the calorie count and sodium levels!!! Dang!!!

Seriously. Talk about obesity and heart attack on a bun! Even their salads and condiments are abysmal.

Look at the calories in the chicken wings at Outback. 4 wings is 1,000 calories, no blue cheese included.
