Next summer I would like to rent a one or two bedroom for the period 6/15 to 9/15--My brother--"Hiking in Maine with Kelley"--lives in Bangor but I would like to be near water--currently live on the beach in Florida--I love Portland and Acadia and most places in between. I plan on meeting up with my brother on some of his hikes as well as exploring areas on my own. Would be nice to be somewhat removed from the tourists, yet close enough to restaurants and grocery stores to not be a hassle. Any ideas and suggestions are gratefully appreciated. Tom

I'd love to rent something next summer too! Portland or Acadia sound GREAT!

Austin Texas? Not so much. It is broiling hot in the summer. Did you post this in the correct forum?

If you live on the beach in Florida, I can't imagine wanting to live in Austin for the summer! What am I missing here?
