I'm going to be in the Austin area from out of state and I want to see a big time Texas high school football game on Friday the 21st. Where should I go?

Friday the 14th weekend or the weekend of the 21st?

If you're coming in on the 14th, I'd go with Westlake v. Round Rock

Impossible to tell. It will be the second round of the state playoffs, so the games won't be set until next week.

Next week. Are these games played at the high school or neutral?

It depends. Could be either. Won't know until next week, based on outcomes, and then agreements between the two schools playing.

scm53 is correct.

There will be some good games in the second week of the playoffs. Post back on Monday 17th & hopefully they'll have the Neutral sites set (& we'll give our recs). FYI, they'll be playing Friday night & also on Saturday all day.

Where will you be staying?

As already stated, too soon to know who and where the games will be on November 21st! It is a six week playoff, single elimination, sites vary. We only know who plays from week to week

Alright all, what are your picks now for the upcoming week? I am staying in the Arboretum area. Which "region" of the bracket should I be looking at and which games are moderately close?

Saturday at high noon. Vandergrift v Lockhart at the palace on Parmer.

Close enough to the Arboreteum, should be a good game.
