Yes! I'm still tired from all the lobbying I did to get BBQ to Avery Ranch, but I'll keep pushing for a TJ's or similar to open in that area.

BTW, we DO have an empty bank spot at ARB/Parmer with Cap 1 moving locations...anybody got an idea for an empty bank building? Actually, a Wells Fargo would put both of our banks within walking distance(Chase is the other)

Geez, I hope they don't convert it to a mattress store

Could be a Dentist/Dr Office. I believe Family Tree Dental in Round Rock used to be a Wells Fargo or similar bank.

COCUE-Definitely try Brooklyn Heights and The League. I enjoy both of those a little too often. Tony C's is good, too, but I've only been there once.
Really Avery Ranch dance, wonder why I never noticed it.. To be fair I only stop at CVS on my way back from work so perhaps thats my excuse

What kind of food is Brooklyn heights and The league? (I hope some busy body doesnt tell me to google it , I'm asking my neighbors!

We have been to Z'Tejas way too may times than I would like and everytime, I say not again, since its not terribly child friendly but i kinda like their food. We've bough way too many ice creams from McD drive thru but never been inside, My kids dont really know McDs properrly yet but somehow, I bought ice cream or smoothie coming back from adenoids removal surgery last year and that kid never forgot and told the others.. So now they say, Orange leaf is for frozen yogurt and McD only sells M&M ice cream And I also love Frozen Yogurt

COCUE-
Smokey Mo's is going into the old Meat House slot by Jack Brown Cleaners. The sign is already up.

The League-it's a bit of everything. Good burgers, fun appetizers, nice drink menu.

Brooklyn Heights - Pizza, mostly. But they also have good salads, wings (for real, sometimes my family only goes for the wings). It used to be a teeny tiny restaurant, but they took over some adjacent space. We only sit in the "bar" area now. It has a much better feel, nicer ambiance.

And don't forget Snap Kitchen right beside CVS in the new little out-parcel.

I LOVE Snap Kitchen.

Correctly portioned food, perfect for people like me who have lots of food issues.

I just wish they were less expensive!!!

We were shocked at the prices in that place - it made Whole Foods look like WalMart.

Yes. I call the food modern-day TV dinners for the health conscious. Which always come with a price tag.

It definitely keeps me out of there. It's not so bad when it's just me popping in to get myself a quick meal, but bringing my kids ends up costing an arm and a leg. :/

So we drove by the new Tapas place last night on our way to Brooklyn Heights (btw - my husband and brother, both east coasters, say Brooklyn Heights has the best wings in town. They love them!) and a banner is up - the name is going to be "The Rotten Bunch" (?!?!) I, personally, think that's a horrible name for a place that serves food. And if you say it out loud, it sounds like one word.

Coach Rick - I agree with you on a TJs in the old BB&B!
