I have narrowed down my search of where my family and I will be moving and its between Cedar Park, Round Rock and Pflugerville. If anyone that lives or have lived in Cedar Park could give me the top 5 reasons why not to move to Cedar Park, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry but if I had to choose, I would choose Cedar Park over the others. It's furthest from I-35 (which I hate) and has more trees, closer to the lake, etc...I would only choose certain parts of Round Rock West. Just my opinion!

Cedar Park or RR west for sure, even N Austin, it's just more central, I dislike the 35 also, horrible interstate!

If you love strip centers and big box retail, you'll be in heaven...and I guess it's impossible to get lost since whatever you're looking for is on US 183.

Cedar Park is big box central, And isn't close to 35, but it is close to 183. Has more trees than Pflugerville on 35, but not Pflugerville more rural and if the big box building continues like it has been, there won't be more trees there than anywhere else. Just my 2 cents.

Since you asked for 5 reasons here they are, please no comments from Cedar Park residents:

1. As the previous poster mentioned, big box retail, not original at all
2. Too far from Austin, feels like the suburbs of Dallas
3. Houses don't appreciate as well as Austin
4. Overcrowded
5. Restaurants, all chains, no bueno!

Those are all true, but the original poster asked about CP compared to RR and PF. I would say CP is better than either of those.

Pflugerville is trying to catch up with the big box. We have a Wally-mart and there's a Home Depot coming soon and a big retail center with more big boxes. The opening of 130 has driven this growth.

I agree, if I had to choose among the 3 I'd choose CP, because it's closer to the lake and has some hills & trees. You'll be far from I35 (which can be good) and the new toll roads make getting into town easier. But you asked for 5 reasons not to move there, so I'll list them:

1) Home appreciation is slow (although this is the same for RR and worse in PV)
2) Bedroom community. No major employers, only recently any kind of town center
3) Long drive to downtown, miss out on some of that Austin vibe
4) Definite redneck factor in some parts (also in RR and PV, though)
5) Williamson County is still in the dark ages (also applies to RR)
