You're welcome. It's all good, and no one's gone too overboard with it. I know it's not going to be here for a few more years, but happy about it nonetheless.

I'm hoping they had a good reason and will use the proceeds in other park areas. I was surprised to see a couple of tennis courts there...maybe they will find a way to keep them in use

I for one was disappointed when I read the new institution wasn't a brothel! Err, umm, I mean, I was relieved it wasn't a brothel! ;-)

Why am I not surprised to see that a simple posting announcing that the Nutty Brown is relocating to Round Rock in a couple of years brings out the usual 3 who have to hijack every thread for their constant, off-topic, "I know more than you" arguments?
Says the person compelled to point out that The Last Waltz movie wasn't really filmed at Carnegie Hall in a thread about a concert at Steiner Ranch...

Mr. Pot, may I introduce Mr. Kettle?

Ha ha. I agree. It's being replaced with a huge endeavor shopping center that is going to be pretty cool and the new HEB. I'm glad it's going!

Thanks for the initial post, Love Roses, and to the others who added something to the actual topic. It's nice to know about their move.
I can't rep you enough. It's beyond me how a simple restaurant opening causes the thread to become 40% arguing over nothing.

Cherished Austin concert venue bulldozed by Endeavor to make a mega mall. Southpark Meadows all over again.

Nope. It's supposed to be pedestrian friendly and unique. Don't knock it until you see it.
