True. This town is running out of areas to build big big-ticket items. When we get a pro sports stadium, large zoo, etc. it will most likely be located somewhere SE to better serve the urban core. Lots of land is off limit to development, which is also driving up prices on the SE side.

The city annexes a lot of land down here too, so they'll build a new community, school, etc. and Austin gets a little bigger when they redraw the city limits.

I'm a bit surprised the city / county aren't fighting this given what they did with Saxet. I guess money and tourism talks and this place I guess is more controlled in their eyes. If it removes the bachelor parties from the ranges I frequent I will be thrilled.

That's fine by me - I own 25 acres of open land just a stone's throw west of the F1 race track.

Right next to all the fast food and vatos... Sure...se Austin looks today almost exactly the same as when I lived in it in 99-2000
