You've just listed employment centers that _aren't_ (primarily) concentrations of low wage employment.

What's the utility in putting affordable housing next to jobs employing people that aren't going to live in affordable housing?

Thousands?

There aren't a thousand grocery stores in Austin.

There aren't a thousand Target/Wal-marts in Austin.

I certainly wouldn't claim Four Points is in the top 5 of commercial centers in Austin. But it's probably in the top 20.

And it's possibly unique in that all the others already have at least some affordable housing closer.

4 points is one of the activity centers in the Imagine Austin plan.

It's one of the centers in the Campo 2040 plan.

Then we don't need taxpayer subsidized low income apartments.

Thousands? There aren't a thousand grocery stores in Austin. I wouldn't know. If there are 150 in GREATER Austin, then I stand corrected. If there are only 85 in greater Austin, then I stand corrected. (& none of them should have a "Subsidized" low income apartment built next to them).

There aren't a thousand Target/Wal-marts in Austin. Of course there aren't.

I'd call it a strip mall & a big box on a busy suburban highway.....not technically in the "Center" of anything.
