The Lakline HEB Plus is great but is always crowded and parking there is a hell. I think that is standard with pretty much all of the HEB Pluses

I love grocery stores! I shop at a variety of HEBs and love to find a new one. Don't have a lot of experience in the Waco area, but the Belton one is one of my favorites, as is the one in Leander at 2243 and 183. Likewise the one at University and I35 across from IKEA. The HEB in Harker Heights has The Best Meat Department in my experience (probably because of the military right there - HEB is very good at catering to the demographics of each store).

There is a big HEBPlus on the south end of Waco on I35. I was only there once (it is right where the construction used to start but that section just finished, hooray!) but it was a lovely store,

If you're willing to go very south, a new one just opened in New Braunfels on I35 and 306. It was the best HEB I've ever been in!

Yes, it's currently under construction. Will be stopping in as soon as it opens to check it out.

Cool! We have family in San Antonio and so are down there fairly often. I'll have to stop in next trip!
