Someone tell me about UT.

Pros? Cons? Personal experience? Anything.

Thanks!

Your questions lacks necessary detail.

What are you hoping to find in a large state university? Why are you considering UT? What other colleges are you comparing it to? What will your major be?

Well I live in north Florida so I guess in comparison to the state universities here such as U of Florida, Florida State, and some other less-knowns like U of North Florida, U of Central Florida. All very large state Universities.

I am planning on going to my local CC for 2 years to get my Physical Therapy Assistant degree, then go somewhere for Athletic Training, or something of the like, to complete my Bachelor's, and then go on for a Masters/Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

My girlfriend's father lives in Austin and I have visited. I LOVED it. I love downtown, and I love the nightlife. I'm not a big party guy but I don't mind going to a nice restaurant or for a night out. Austin, as a city, seems very great. UT, as a school, and from what I understand, is a top-notch university. I just wanted some first-hand or second-hand info, coming from experience, rather than just college search engine info.

I do plan on visiting the school, so I will not base my college choice solely on others' opinions, but I would absolutely love to hear those opinions.

Thanks! And sorry for the lack of detail in my original post.
