We are looking to rent in the Leander area and really like the older Benbrook Ranch area. Looks like a really nice and family friendly neighborhood. We are just a regular middle class family looking for a nice neighborhood with good schools. I think it it Plain Elementary, Leander Middle and the new Glenn HS. Anyone have any experiences there? Is it generally a safe area? We would like to be a little away from the hustle and bustle but close enough at the same time. Thanks!

There isn't an area in Leander that isn't safe.. Ben brook is a nice area. It's kind of away from the hustle and bustle but within 5-10 minutes of literally everything one could want (shopping, eating, mall, movies, cedar park center for sports-concerts-shows), is a quick drive to the domain down 183A, skate park is in that neighborhood and I believe brand new baseball fields that Are supposed to be of a really high level near bell road side .. have no experience with the schools however most schools in the LEANDER ISD do perform well.

Good luck!
