Thanks all for the comments and suggestions!!! I did not realize how difficult to put in an new pool (rock underneath)..... I guess the community pool is the best place to meet other people which we would like to do once we move. However, having a pool in our backyard is convinent for us..... kids can shower after swimming and I can swim without watching my own weight...... Anyway, thanks!!!

By the way, how often do these pool construction turn down by the HOA? If the lot is big enough, is there any other restriction I should know?

[You should also consider trying to find a home that already has a pool. Since you're moving in the April/May timeframe, that helps considerably as that is when inventories in RP tend to be at their highest so you have more homes to pick from. I actually have a friend who may be selling her house and relocating out of state right around then that already has a great pool and hot tub...if you're interested PM me. Good luck! [/quote]

I would love to buy a house with a pool...... But I have not found one yet in River Place...... If you have any further information about your neighbor's house, I would love to know. How is the ES in River Place?

I would keep looking for a home with a pool! Putting in your own sounds horrific from what I have been reading and been told by friends. Too many unexpected things such as ROCK ROCK and MORE ROCK=$$$

Circle C is nice and some have pools, but it is further south than you are looking. Keep searching...new ones come on the market everyday!

Default Home with pool available.

Couldnt resist. There is a home with a pool and jacuzzi on a canyon/green belt view next door to us in steiner currently vacant and for sale. Believe the footage is near 3500 and price at 439,000.
