Hey everyone,

We are excited for our big move to Austin and are trying to find out what services we need to setup in our new home prior to our arrival. We are specifically moving to Rocky Creek and need to know what our options are for these following services. Are we locked into one provider? What are our options?
  • gas
  • electricity
  • water
  • waste
  • security
  • tv
  • internet

Thanks neighbors!

My pleasure! Also, checking with your neighbors for other service referrals like pest control, lawn maintenance, etc should get you the best feedback for those. You're far enough "out" that I would expect certain vendors to specialize in your area. Happy moving!

If trash is paid through the HOA, you won't have to worry about that (most likely). You don't have a choice about water and electric, but you should have more options than just AT&T for phone/cable/internet (Spectrum, formerly Time Warner, for example).
