Not sure how an article specifically about Berkley relates to Austin, unless you can further elaborate.

Really? Not specifically about Berkeley at all; more like they used a recent example from B. to illustrate the problem that faces any growing American city where single family housing from yesteryear is close in and the demand is there for more close in housing. Sounds a whole lot like the situation here in Austin, to me.
