Do you have a terrific house cleaner who needs more jobs? I live off Bee Caves Road toward Highway 71, and really need someone to help me clean my 2300 square foot home (I have 2 boys and a dog with lots of shedding black fur).
Thanks for your recommendations with what you pay and your home's square footage!

We tried some services, but had poor consistency. We ended up going on someone else's recommendation with an 'individual' (her, her mother, and her husband, but mostly her). However, she is completely booked up, I think, but fwiw, we pay $80 every two weeks for a ~2300 sf house. She generally spends 3-5 hours at the house, depending on the needs, and does a 'progressive' cleaning - she focus on items ever 4th time or so. Maybe clean the blinds completely one week, then deep clean the shower/tubs the next, then really, really clean the floors the next, etc. She does bedding, towels, vacuuming, sweeping, and 'typical' bathroom/floor cleaning every week. I guess you can get more service on a weekly basis, but would have to pay for it, and we have found her system very good. It appears that her price is about the going rate for that level of service.

I swear by Molly Maids. They have been very consistent and affordable.

I no longer use a housekeeper but I got one off of Craigslist. It was two women that would spend about 3 hours a week and it was spotless for $80/2800 sq ft. They also came on Sunday morning which worked out great for us so we could be there to control our stupid dog.

I have an awesome cleaning lady and her assistant, she charges me $85 for 2800 sqft every two weeks. Very detailed. Cleans the blinds each time and always deep cleans the bathrooms. The first cleaning is a bit more (I paid $150 because there were here for over 10 hours), and I thought I was relatively clean before they came. (They dusted every doorjam, corner, ect.) They will change your sheets, clean the fridge, and more. She is working at AISD until the end of the month, but after then she should have some openings. Her English speaking is limited, but she understands everything.

PM me if you want me to pass on her info. She lives in South Austin, but would probably go to Bee Caves.

The lady who cleans my house in Houston is unfortunatly moving to Austin in the next few months. Bad for me but good for you guys I guess, it will be hard replacing her. Not only did she clean my home and steam my suits she was also doing home repairs for me.
