Allergies are bad, I have asthma at times I am miserable. I have learned to stay in as much as possible during cedar season.

I’ve never had any allergies in almost 60 years, except for Austin. Tears me up every year.

Hahaha, my sister is going there tomorrow for 4 days...I told her, I don't remember any allergies...that was San Antonio when I was in my 20s, tho...hahaha...guess I'll be changing that one!
82 tomorrow and showers...great from dry CO. (Avalanches are only in the high mountains, btw,)
No snow here in the front range. 60 today. Not like what you see on the News.

People move here and develop the Cedar allergy over time. It is ubiquitous, and nearly universal misery for the month of January. I know people who have it so bad they actually have to leave for the entire month.

Don’t move here if allergies are a concern. It’s not hype.

It's been a week and a day with a sinus infection due to the Oak allergy. I am on round two of antibiotics and have finally gotten an RX for a pain reliever for the sinus headache for the headache that has been driving me crazy since last friday.

Never had a single issue before Austin. I seem to spend a good part of January and February sick.

Holy Kleenex!

This is as bad as I've EVER been affected by allerges here. It's been a brutal week. Sneezing, coughing, runny nose, sinus headache, sore throat, can't sleep and I'm cranky!

Did I miss anything?

Suggestions?

DM, I'm in the same boat. Been in Austin for 12 years with no issues but this year the allergies have finally got me! Was down for a few weeks at the beginning of February and now I'm down again. Several seasoned allergy sufferers have suggested a combo of zyrtec and flonase. Have helped me some but I'm nowhere near 100%.

I take zysal daily. I've been working in the back much of the week, rained on by catkins. Here's to hoping I don't get ill!
