Hi folks. I’m moving to Leander in June and I’m looking for a really great granite company to do my kitchen counter tops. Any suggestions?

Installers or suppliers of granite?

Not that I can help with either, but they are (generally) two different groups.

you probably want quartz these days (lighter colors than granite). Also the fabricators also are the resellers. You generally cant buy the material yourself (but some places you can).

However austin granite direct has the best yelp reviews

Alpha granite has not so good reviews, but my GC likes them.

My interior designer liked graniteworks austin which is who we used, they were fine.

If it were my choice I would have used austin granite direct (just based on yelp reviews).

We used Austin Granite Direct (I think that's the name) for our kitchen counter. Overall we're pleased and the prices were good. My favorite has always been black and that's what we got.

Granite's still very popular. Don't really care for quartz and quartz doesn't fit all decor.
