Lol nice insult. Turns out I’m not even a bears fan, so Do attempted insults and foul language count as trolling or cyber bullying? Nah Your probably good buds with the mods considering you probably sit on this site all day. Did you tell on me roaming? Oh no. Keep leeching? What the hell are you doing in a thread talking smack when it has nothing to do with you. Your an instigator.

Regardless I know Reading might not be your thing however- a solid chunk of these are not “crappy fast food” . Northline is a town center that will have entertainment options (movie theatre, town center for concerts), shops/dining on bottom floors and living on the top.

The 156,000 square foot sports complex is something my family will personally use. Hockey, ice skating and curling. Football fields.

The bell redevelopment is making a similar to the domain style development.

The indigo ridge IS a smaller domain concept

The Alamo Drafthouseresido development is not a crappy fast food development

The cedar park center which is 2 minutes up the road is something we use almost weekly when the stars are in season and monthly for other things such as concerts.

St David’s hospital.. oh yeah crappy fast food

ACC Canpus.. oh yeah useless

You can keep your crap attitude to yourself. I have no interest in Austin besides maybe a kaychak trip here and there. Talk about a trash team.. what’s UT done in the last how many years? Lmao

What insult?

As for UT. 51 national championships since 1949, more Big 12 titles than any other school, some world class facilities and a whole lot of fun, while being something uniquely Austin.

Leander is still a soulless suburb that could be in the middle of Iowa for all it matters.

The Bears I was referring to live up the road in Baylor, but keep that chip on your shoulder.

I’m not interested in a back and forth with another person on this forum. At the end of day, I posted this so that people who care and live here and want to keep up with the developments could do so. Not so someone could come to it and bash the area.

Just remember that you came here to what seems insult the area because it’s not good enough for you. And we all needed to know that apparently.

LOL...good Lawd ham'mercy! I actually enjoyed the list of new developments. Whether someone posts about it or not, it's going to happen. Posting about it isn't going to hasten the developments nor cause it to explode. It's just information, you guys. That's it.

Although I've lived in the Austin area since 1993, I grew up in Tokyo, so I'm a city girl at heart. I am enjoying the growth.

Thanks for the lists and updates! I'm always so amazed at all the growth further north of me! We've been heading up into Cedar more lately to do shopping, errands, etc. Don't get up to Leander much but have been meaning to just to see what's new up there. Might have to head north on Lakeline and check it out soon!

Speaking of Chik-Fil-A why did they tear down the Chik-Fil-A on corner of SH45/620/183? I was in the area and hungry for some chicken and saw it was torn down and they are simply rebuilding it? WTF? Did it have structural issues? It doesn't look like it's any bigger than it was. Anybody with any information?
