How far east do you mean? East of I-35 is sort of low income and a lot of apartments and small older houses. Or do you mean east of Manchaca but west of I-35? There's a big big difference. Basically east of I-35 is a little run down and has more crime. Around Manchaca there are a lot of nice new subdivisions and it's a decent place to live in my opinion.
