My daughter simply catches the eye of the driver she'd like to let her in and "asks" and is rarely denied.

I do wish dearly for the old days when "drive friendly" was matter of fact, but I've actually been looking for the terrible driving I hear described and finding, while the traffic is annoying and there are a few who could be described with a name that I won't use on a public website, they are for the most part in the minority.

That's why I asked where you drive, because we could very easily be driving in different areas. (While I range all over Austin in my business, for the most part I'm in north Austin from the Burnet/Anderson/183 area north to Cedar Park and over, in South Austin ranging around the Ben White/Lamar area, and in the area of 620 from IH35 to the lake, with occasional forays to the Northland/2222/Mopac neighborhoods. How about you?)
I live just west of McNeil and Parmer.....not far from the H-E-B. I've had cars go through lights all the time out there, people zooming out of the mega apartment complexes, people barreling out of HEB and such 24/7. And I go down lamar often near there, and I see lots of tailgating, and people in a big hurry. If you don't make a quick move, you get tailgated immediately. There are lots of mega-apartment complexes in the area, so the driving may be extra dense because of it. It isn't awful, but not exactly pleasant.
I can certainly live with it.

I don't know for sure, I have seen it get as high as 2500-5000.00 dollars, I believe they spread it out over a time period to encourage longer employment. I don't know what the pay starting out for you might be, but I know that fiscally, Seton is pretty strong, and I get paid well for what I do there compared to what I would get paid by the competing hospital system in Austin. You can call HR at 512-324-1776 fpr more info.

I don't know specifically what type of pay you could expect, but I know that I get paid well for what I do there compared to what the competing hospital here in Austin would pay me. I am not a Nurse however, and I would suggest that you call HR at 512-324-1776 for more specifics. I have seen hiring bonuses go as high as 3000.00-5000.00. They may spread that out over a period of time, also. They value their nurses and are always notifying staff of incentives to hire and retain nurses.
