Hi,

What is the commute like during peak hours (8-5pm) from Leander, Tx to around Champion Grandview area. Leander seems to be an affordable place.

Thank you!

Really depends on where in Leander you’re talking about, but I’d say you’re looking at 45-1:15.

True. Depends on where in Leander. But if you live closer to 183 Toll way it makes a tad easier for commute to Bridge 360.

I’m looking at those new homes in 78641 area . Criteria: faster off roads/ avoid highways and tolls.

Hahhahahahahaha.

Yeah. 78641 is basically all of Leander - and you will NEVER avoid tolls or highways from there. The 45-1:15 estimate is accounting for tolls. Take those out, it’s probably 1:30. They’ll eventually bury you in your ****ing car.

🙄 😳 Thats a ridiculus amount of time to be spending on commute eerybday! I’d Rather rent somewhere close. Why would anyone want to live in leander then? Just curious. Do they work somewhere close or take tolls?

Quality of life, near parks/shopping, good schools, affordable.

There are many employment centers that are further north - and many take the toll roads.

Another question is why would anyone want an 8-5 job next to one of the worst 'highways' in the area(IF you were going to live 'not near' there anyway?)

Yep...got some smaller employers like Dell and Apple "up here". Leander , Cedar Park, Round Rock, north-north Austin all within a reasonable commute distance/time.
