Looking at maybe moving to Lago Vista and we have a middle schooler. Which district is better? Size doesn't really concern me unless there are less opportunities like career courses in high school or other course options not available in smaller schools. Maybe there are more options in some ways with less competition? Also, is Lago Vista a safe area for families? Kids walking to bus stops?

Yes I did search the forum. Nothing, including that post, address my question of Lago Vista schools vs Leander schools.

In my opinion Leander is superior to Lago Vista in pretty much every dimension including schools, safety, commute, etc.

These basic stats don't tell the whole story, Lago Vista is disadvantaged by geography. You can spend time digging into data via the TEA but Leander will always come out on top.
