I think we have settled on the Leander/Cedar Park area. We are looking at homes that are zoned for Stiles, Leander Middle, and Wiley. I believe they would then feed into either Rouse or Leander High school. Would love to get some feedback on these middle schools. My son is not in athletics but might be interested in computer classes, art, or band. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Stiles kids go to Vista Ridge or Rouse. My son goes to Stiles and overall has had a great experience. The band program is great and my son has also enjoyed the Gateway classes.

Just a heads up these schools will fall into rezoning later this month for the start of the 2020 school year. A new middle school will be opening and large amounts of children will be shifted around, so don't get to set on one of these over the other. https://v3.boardbook.org/Public/Publ...px?ik=43680443

Both my kids went to Wiley one did band for a couple of years and the band programs all over LISD are super strong look at the high school band rankings. They loved art there. One went to Rouse and did the STEM route there and now is a CS major at Southwestern University in Georgetown..my other is a sophomore at Glenn high in Leander doing that STEM program didn't move just opened new school. That happens alot
