Well taking things back to the original thread, this weekend is when the trail monitors will be in place and when you will be charged $10 and your dog an additional $10 per dog.

Some breeds are suitable for that. Mine is too lazy. He gets his activity running in front of me and almost tripping me when I'm in a hurry

LOL. I started walking my cat last year, now he bugs me every day to take him out. He'll walk on trails but is obsessed with every tree.

I had a Maine Coon mix cat (he was 20+ lbs with long fur) that seemed more like a dog than a cat. He would follow me around the neighborhood just like a dog. I lived outside during the day while I was at work, and everyone in the neighborhood knew him - he would visit people while they were gardening or doing work outside.

Now, I never tried to put him on a leash......

$10 bucks says cbach started this thread just so he could eventually work in that he had a young girlfriend.

This idea is not new to Austin. It has been many years so I forget the exact location of the trail head, but it was south Austin. The neighborhood had access to parking which led to the Barton Creek Green Belt that no others could use without getting a nasty note on their vehicle. There were signs posted too. I thought it was odd that a neighborhood could use the parking area, but other Austin residents could not. I thought I payed taxes too, but I guess no one cares.

Most likely your taxes were not used to build/maintain that parking area. So you are correct, they probably did not care because it was not relevant.

OTOH, if it was public parking, call the police .

likely the hill of life entrance in lost creek. Those are public roads so they can write nasty notes, but anyone can park there.
