Are PA ski resorts as good as Colorado, Utah, or others? No. But they're sure a hell of a lot better than the ones in Texas, you know, that don't exist.
I've been to Lake Travis in March or November and went swimming. You can't do that in PA. The "season" is longer here for boating, etc...

the beaches in the northeast suck. i'll take padre any day over JOnes Beach, Rye Beach, Orchard Beach, Coney Island, Jersey shore... you go to those beaches because really you have no choice unless you want to spend for airfare.

True, but the downside of that is because it's oppressively hot for much of the year.

Just moved 100 miles outside Philly, going skiing tomorrow. 40 miles away. The Jersey beaches do generally suck, some even have entry fees, so those in the know usually head to DE and MD locations.

Curious if the OP has made any decisions, no updates lately.
