Maybe...it will surely FEEL like triple digits; but the wet earth will help keep the actual temps lower by 2-3 degrees, I reckon.


That Saturday bike ride that finishes at noon will be an eye-opener, I'm sure!

I think people are fine with these crazy temperatures until July. They start getting a bit irritated in August and around Sept/Oct. start planning on moving out :-)

I'm going to speculate that we won't hit 100 in actual temp this weekend. I think the prediction is just off, like the "20% chance of rain" or whatever slight possibility they had forecasted for yesterday.

But if it does happen, it will be quite unusual -- it's typically more like the end of June when we have the first 100+ day. Of course the heat indices in June can be pretty bad due to the humidity, which backs off a little by July/August.
