Can someone recommend a good hardwood installer? We purchased a home in West Austin that is only 2 years old. The previous owner included more carpet than we like. There are existing hardwoods already in the foyer, hall, and study that are just beautiful! Our goal is purchase additional hardwoods (same brand, color, style, etc.) which should be easy data to get from the builder's design center and have them professionally installed. This is to replace the existing carpet in 3 rooms and we're hoping to get a seamless transistion from current hardwoods to new.

And one year later, they are out of business. Too many law suits to deal with.

We did the same thing; our house had hardwoods in the living room, hallway upstairs and the master. We had Floor Centers of Texas install wood in 3 bedrooms and they also did a terrific job on our stairs as well.

Was it necessary to bump every floor thread!?

They are? I just bought from them in February. I got some swanky Portugese click-together cork planks from them and it looks dynamite.
