First-time poster / just moved to Austin.
I've spent some time in/around the Lakeway / Bee Cave area.

Wondering of opinions good/bad of the following neighborhoods.
Are there any others?

Thanks in advance.

It would be helpful to know what you are looking for. Do you want information about schools, community amenities, builders, HOA fees? Are there things that are of particular interest or concern to you in locating to one of these areas?

Is proximity to downtown important to you? If it is, Rough Hollow, Flintrock, Alta Vista, Falconhead all fall in Lake Travis ISD are further west and commute during peak hours could be obnoxious.

Senna Hills and Bella are closer, more expensive neighborhoods and attend the Eanes ISD (if schools are most important to you).

Please be more specific about what kind of feedback you need.

And there are lots of others.....maybe dozens of others....possibly hundreds of others.

(But as others mentioned, more info is necessary to offer an opinion.)

Default All are great neighborhoods

Senna Hills and Barton Creek West are great neighborhoods in the Eanes School District.
Lake Pointe has a great elementary school, at that price range, consider The Uplands which is across the street from Lake Pointe. If you want a little more space, try The Homestead which is also in the Lake Travis ISD.
Rough Hollow is deep into Lakeway and is pretty new. You may get a home with a small lake view at that price. Not sure about young families, you might want to drive around in the weekend.
Alta Vista has nice hill country views and you can get a greenbelt lot for that price. They have a nice Amenity Center which includes a nice size pool, with water feature for kids. The amenity center seems to attract many.
It all depends on your needs and if you want a custom builder, etc. Do you want hill country views, or water views?
If building, I recommend hiring a phase inspector.
