True, but I’d have to give the top calorie prize to Gordough’s.

Is Conan's Pizza still open up there?
It's been many years since they were in San Antonio. My old roommate and I inhaled plenty of those with a cold beer, in my youth. Probably put me in a coma now.

They actually have table cloths with glass tops covering them.... and chandeliers!
And a really long, noisy wait for a table!! Smallest taquitos I've ever seen!!

We went there several years ago before it was Rotten Bunch - can’t recall its original name.
It was a variant of the Waterloo Ice House for a few years.

Two locations still open...Stassney and Anderson Lane. TexasGunTalk group used to hit Conan's about once a quarter; but they changed the lunch-time format a bit. Still was nice to have a "private" dining area in the back of the restaurant on Anderson. Haven't been there since Covid hit.

Dos Salsa's has the most unfriendly bartenders. I ate there like 4 times. Wasn't impressed by the food. Blue Corn Harvest is really good.

That’s what I thought. It was ok.
We like the ZTejas catfish beignets and that little cornbread skillet appetizer.
