Also if you're going to be out in the next hour be prepared for some rain. It's super windy down here and will probably start raining in a few minutes.

Okay Ashbeeigh, I'll take your 1.5 Hr Drive in the rain from Temple and raise you a typical business commute with N4C...

Started my day in Lawrenceville GA waking up casually at 8am, had a delayed start at about 1 or 2ish PM before I went to a Quick Lube and had my oil changed, decided I was hungry and cruised up to Alpharetta GA for some Smokejack BBQ, came back to Lawrenceville GA to pay my contractor to redo some flooring and landscaping in our investment property. Nephew decided he wanted to buy a Nissan 300ZX located in Midland TX, I decided why the heck not its only right up the street...Left ATL at about 7 or 8ish PM EST... Got to Midland at about 5PM CST the following day...after securing the vehicle I took the scenic back roads back to Austin at night after being awake for more than 24 Hours, got home at 3am, woke up for work at 7am and am currently at work business as usual..

oh and... I also brought my cat along for the joy ride...

..your turn..

In case anyone is going downtown this weekend:

Quote:

Transportation Department will be temporarily closing Riverside Drive between South First Street and Barton Springs Road from July 16-18 to allow the road crew to dismantle a crane. There may be traffic delays, so motorists are advised to use alternate routes when traveling in the area.

Well there’s always a chance of all the planets aligning on a night of a blue moon during the day they break ground work for SH45 out toward Lakeway … Out in Tuscaloosa AL they finally opened all travel lanes on I-20 and it took them only 20 years… but the day that pigs fly… we’ll never get to see..

I ended up driving back to ATL and heading back to AUS again. I had to pull over for one heck of a downpour in Jackson MS. Guess it’s time to grab lunch.
