Hello,
What would be good schools for a 5 year old in great hills area ? We won't be eligible to start KG until August. Looking for schools closer to Laurel mountain elementary. I am interested in Montessori or with good academic program .
Thankyou

I’d say give your kid at least the remaining nine months of his/her life before they get whipped daily for their grades. Let them read at home and do art and play.

You won’t, so good luck with the waiting lists.

Most preschools are all about art, play, and learning to socialize. It's not a pressure cooker environment! My kids loved being in preschool from 3 years old on and would have been bored to pieces just hanging out at home. Most kids are yearning for this type of environment when they are 3-5 years old. Not to mention, most parents work and don't have the luxury of their kids just being at home.

To the OP...I can't help you with preschools in your area, but it might be challenging to find a spot for an older preschoolers.
