Good rainfall today. 1.6" of rain at my house, 0.65" fell today. Just need 0.4" more and we'll be even for the month. Some stations in Fredericksburg have over 3" for the month. Very good for Highland Lakes.

Well, here it is Sunday, January 26th and it's a very comfortably warm 75 degrees and an absolutely gorgeous day to be in Austin, Texas. They can say what they want about global warming and climate change and all that, but I tell you what, I will gladly welcome a day like today over a 35 or 36 degree gloomy gray day in January any day of the week.

It's nice but winter isn't over. There will definitely be another cold front at some time between now and March.
