Hello,

Our family is considering a relocation to the Austin area and we're looking at real estate listings in Avery Ranch, Cedar Park, Leander and Round Rock.

Our priorities are:
1) Top schools (Elem, Middle, High)
2) Relatively newer homes
3) Close proximity to Indian grocery stores, restaurants

We are thinking to rent a single-family/ TH for a year and then buy a house.
Could you provide some suggestions on locations/ schools to look for? Appreciate it!

Try a search. This exact question gets asked weekly. Nothing has changed since August.

ashbeeigh is right - can you at least try a few searches and pretend like you tried to find any of this information yourself? Most of your questions have been answered many times over.

My favorite is the "Townhome" part. There's maybe 1,000 total "townhomes" in Austin... Oddly, the Dallas forum is always "Apartment community".

what is your price range, square footage, and age of home need? Generically there is a huge south asian population along yaupon in the dominion at great hills. The houses were built around 2000, run about 3000 square feet and are about 700K+. They feed into laurel mountain, canyon vista, westwood. Laurel mountain is probably 25% south asian.

If people would stop giving the same responses every week it might help too. I’m not going to give anyone the satisfaction of providing links to recent threads which may even still be on page one of the forum. But, I’d others would stop answering it may cut down on the new threads for “best schools in north Austin” threads.
