I’m in Cedar Park . Two weekends in a row now, I have had drones flying over my back yard . On 3 different occasions , I’ve had a drone hovering at night . The first time I started to film with my camera and the drones blacked out about 15 seconds later and I could still see it in the cloud line. Then this last weekend another drone was flying right over our yard and I started recording . Once I started recording again it zoomed over our house and went down our block then came back and hovered in the back yard ? Is this what we have come to ? I’m sorry but this invasion of privacy has to stop and people need to start stepping up on these clear violations of our rights to privacy .

Anyone else see this bs ?

Most likely bored teenagers in your neighborhood.
Be careful with the shotgun though.

You might want to post about it on the Next Door neighborhood website to warn parents what their kids are doing. Or it could be an adult perv. Somebody probably knows who plays around with those things.

I doubt it was teenagers . You gotta be pretty good at flying a drone , especially at night . The first drone was really stealthy . Blacked out , and very very quiet . The second one was loud and had lights . And no, I would not shoot at it unless I was in them middle of no where on some giant plot of land

You have to be careful. You can be liable for damaging someone's drone. There may be rules about where you can or can't fly it, but not sure you are allowed to damage them.

Those laser pointers aimed at the camera are far more effective.

There are also laws against inappropriate taping via video cameras. I doubt if a homeowner would be charged for shooting down some pervert window peeper’s drone.
At least not in Wilco.
