anyone else find it too hot and humid for them in tx? I can actually smell the sticky humidity. smells seem to be stronger and linger in the air. I miss the colder days even the snow! also too many people here for me. In time I will move on. anyone else feel the same way?

I’d say you need to visit Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa or Miami. It gets ‘hot’ here but the humidity here is nothing.

It is humid, no doubt. But it is what I grew up with and I am used to it, I guess.

It’s extra extra humid right now because of hurricane Hanna. Complaining is a moot point, though. It’s July in Texas. If you don’t like it, there’s plenty of other places to go, which you said you’ve considered

I grew up in the cold midwest, been in Texas for 40 years or so and figured I'd be here 'til the end. Only in last three or four years has the heat started to bother me. I'm going back north.

The heat is normal to even mild for this area and time of year. The humidity is on the high side, usually it’s drier and hotter by now, but it’s not far from normal.

Yeah the humidity sucks here. Not particularly fond of any season here other than fall/winter, but I manage. I'll never be used to it...I just deal with it because returning to the northeast is not an option.

its only humid right now because of the rain. A few weeks of no rain and it is only humid in the mornings. The afternoons are bone dry.

But it isnt something you can change, so why even complain?
