I don't feel like cooking this year. Anybody have any recommendations on places to go for thanksgiving dinner?

Not a recommendation, per se, but we did notice when we were at Hill's Cafe this weekend that they are open Thanksgiving Day for a fixed-menu dinner. I think it was $15.95 for adults and something less than that for kids. Typical turkey, dressing, sides, dessert menu.

Thanks for your reply.. I guess nobody in Austin goes out for thanksgiving. This year it's just two of us and we don't feel like going to all the trouble. I'm not necessarily looking for traditional thanksgiving food. I know some of the nicer hotels have dinner service but I don't know which ones would be any good.

Check the hotels. I know the Driskill and Four Seasons have a Thanksgiving Day brunch.

Hudson's on the Bend is open T-giving. I believe Hoover's is open as well.

seriously...can't beat Luby's. Or just have a complete dinner ordered from HEB or Central Market. You still eat at home, but have none of the cooking. You might have to warm the turkey and sides, but that's it. Can't be beat.
