We are ready to remodel our kitchen. We found a remodeler/contractor who was recommended by no less than 6 people we actually know (3 are neighbors). He was great when he came out here, got a very thorough, line-by-line estimate right away. But now it's impossible to get a response from him. Got a couple different options for cabinet places, and decided to go with one. Well, now they are also impossible to get a hold of. They're also backtracking on the price they quoted and have just dropped the ball on basic things like ordering samples for us that was just never done.

So, I feel like we almost need to just start from scratch. Any recommendations that won't cost a year's salary? Feel free to DM me as well.

Just really frustrating when we are ready to write a large check right now, and these folks don't even seem to care or want our business.

how much do you want to spend? My cabinet guys said it is totally nuts right now

We used troo, like all contractors they had some problems, but overall they worked hard to make things right.

We'd like to stay under $25K. We have a contractor we like. We also have professional measurements and a design (we aren't changing the layout of the kitchen, just updating and making minor changes, like drawers in some spots instead of cabinets). So we really just need cabinets.
