I have 2 lots that were platted in 1968. They are not a full acre, so to build I need the grandfather variance of the old plat. I can build on one lot but would prefer to build on one and put my well on the other. If I replat will I lose my grandfathered status? I have asked the hoa, one surveyor and have a call in to Travis County. So far, no one can answer my question. I thought someone here might know.

you are destroying value by combining two lots into one.

Is there a min lot size for building a home? You arent really giving enough information.

Why do you need to combine lots to put a well on one lot?
