I was in Austin last month and had not been there for almost a year.


Could not believe the situations in parks and along the underpasses on Ben White and Hwy 183. Dang!


I was in Los Angles coming out of LAX in a rented car last January and the scene in Austin reminded me of what the streets look like outside LAX. Nasty!


Why do so many CA peeps want to pay 4--500 grand for a house in Austin, when the streets are going to look no better than SF or LA? LOL

I noticed Terrazas library facing East Cesar Chavez has been mostly cleaned up. Well it used to be a library, but is now a community court so I'll take this little bit of progress.

KVUE has a two hour plus video online of the city hall clean up. Amazing some of the characters that come out of the woodwork, like the guy with the pheasant on his shoulder.

I see that guy st Cesar Chávez near the convention center all the time.
