My power got wiped out at my office today in Pflugerville. Unsure if its on , I left. Anddd to top it.. I have a flight tomorrow morning... this should be interesting.

Good luck to you! Hopefully, those mature trees can withstand the weight of the ice...we're losing trees left and right in Avery Ranch. MOST utilities are buried, thank goodness.

In ATL we had very tall pine trees. When it gets windy, they start swaying. To someone who has never seen a tree sway back and forth before, it looks pretty scary during a storm but for the most part its a non-issue.. ..until it gets too windy.. My neighbors felt it too, they told me the ducked and covered when they heard the tree falling, they're no joke, we got lucky .. .. they can take the entire house with them when they fall.
