We are going to wait a couple of months before we have our roof inspected to put in a claim - unless a of course a leak develops somewhere.
Undoubtedly there will be more springtime & summer storms.

I have found the roofing dudes to be very accurate in their assessments, generally, as they know that your insurance is going to look at it for themselves, anyway. They will not waste time trying to sell you a new roof that they know the insurance will not approve.

The two Camaro's got lucky, one of them was in their garage (just picked up today) and the other didn't receive hail in the area.
We pulled our cars into the garage just before the hail came down thank God.

We replaced our roof in 2019...here’s to hoping there’s no appreciable damage :/

The old roof was shingle...and original to the house, so it was over 25 years and still going strong. Likely because the heavy tree cover protected it.

The Prius came out to $2k in damage. It’s getting repairs now. I never garage that car so it was screwed either way as my garage is usually reserved for the Camaros plus it makes it look like someone’s home when I’m not here. The Malibu I took a gamble on because I wasn’t going to have it for long. I knew it was going to rain but I wasn’t expecting hail like that. Won’t know about the Malibu until Monday.

What year Malibu?
The first car my wife & I bought was a 1967 Malibu coupe 283 V8, 3 on the tree. Nice blue color. $2,800 new, drove it 6 years then sold it for $1,000 with 67,000 miles on the odometer.

She’s a beautiful red 2021 brand new Malibu. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto, not a scuff or scratch interior or exterior, no stains in the clothe seats and enough pep to get the job done... ...I’m her first driver and she still has her new car smell and the first driveway it sat upon was the moment it got it’s good ole Texan Baptism ceremony as balls of holy hail fell from the heavens above as her warm welcome into car life!

Here’s she is...

...I’m sure she wishes she could have stayed in the garage before I picked her up that day

Another feature I just found out she has is she turns the bright lights on automatically when you’re on a lonely road with no street lights at night!

Only 3.

The first is my older Z28 and its paid off and I dont get rid of paid off cars - Its the project car I've been slowly building over several years now. It goes through periods where its down for half the year, like last year it was undrivable for about 70% of the year.

The next is my SS used to be my daily driver but wanted to try to keep the miles off of it after all those trips to/from ATL -- Its currently in the shop because after two wheel alignments, the steering wheel is cocked to the right when going straight. Thats the one the Malibu is currently replacing as my loaner until I go to pick up my SS, or they give me another loaner due to the insurance claim of they're still working on my personal vehicle.

The final one is my Prius .. I've actually wanted a Hybrid for awhile and it was intended to keep the miles off the SS until I found out it was barely more efficient than the SS on the highway and is really only good around town. So I alternate driving between it and the SS to / from work.

BUT if I could handle 4... I probably wouldn't hesitate to do it .. Probably will when I'm done paying for the SS. The next target on my list is either a ZL1 or a C8.. ..and the Prius will eventually be replaced with either a Camry Hybrid (best fuel mileage), Ioniq Hybrid (best storage / fuel mileage combination), or an electric something (trendy but not very functional for how far I drive)
