First, thanks to everyone on this board for all of their generous input and advice. I've been checking in since moving to Austin last year and have benefited a lot from this board.

That said, could anyone offer suggestions about an easy way to commute from NW/ Great Hills area to just north of the Capitol? I realize "easy" is all relative but is there any way to achieve somewhat constant motion as opposed to sitting on the parking lot that is Mopac? A neighbor suggested Mesa but I'm not quite sure how to do that.

Thanks in advance!

I'll give you the route privately. (Don't want to post it on a public board because then everybody will use it and that will defeat the purpose.)
